One of the best things about holidays to Malaysia is the food. And that is equally true at our island resorts. Malaysian cuisine is a heady mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian influences, often blended to create many unique dishes. Other international cuisines, such as Thai and Western, are also increasingly making their presence felt in Malaysia, leading to some wonderful fusion dishes.
If you want a dream tropical holiday that also delights your taste buds, come to BuBu on Perhentian Island and you won’t be disappointed! Our two resorts boast four restaurants between them, offering a range of Asian, international and fusion cuisine.
Even better, all of our restaurants have prime locations right on the beachfront. So as you savour that spicy yet delicately flavoured fusion dish, you can also enjoy gorgeous views of the crisp white sand, blue seas and (in the evenings) setting tropical sun over Long Beach – a sure way of making your holidays to Malaysia an unforgettable experience.
BuBu Long Beach hosts no less than three restaurants. The Mahi-Mahi is the place to go for hearty buffet breakfasts. Our signature restaurant, the Santai, offers a range of delicious Malaysian, Western and fusion dishes for lunches and dinners – not to mention our fabulous selection of cocktails, mocktails, fine wines and other drinks. Finally, our new Japanese restaurant Sho Doh boasts its own authentic Japanese chef, who will titivate your palate with a selection of classic Japanese dishes.
If you are staying at BuBu Villa, you won’t go wanting either. Its restaurant, the World Café, also has a specialist chef – only this time Italian. He and his team will delight you not only with authentic Italian dishes, but also with a range of Malaysian and other Western food – not to mention hearty breakfasts to get you going first thing in the day.
And don’t worry: whether you are staying at BuBu Long Beach or Villa, BuBu guests can enjoy the cuisine at all of our restaurants. All our packages, as well as guest signing rights, are transferable between the two resorts.
Eat, drink, and enjoy yourself at BuBu Perhentian – for a Malaysian holiday experience you won’t forget!
